Five years of hard work, dedication, and joy went into this experience as one of the original crew members. I loved every moment of it. I had the opportunity to dive deep into the design and production of multiple projects, working under tight deadlines, while exploring creative visual solutions to showcase both talent and music.
Attending shows and music events seems so simple, but everything that happens behind the scenes can be even crazier than the parties themselves.
From talent negotiations, bookings, and hospitality to venue acquisition, promotions, stage production, and countless trips to the airport or RadioShack for extension cables and zip ties—it’s all an adrenaline rush of “Can we make this the best possible night?” And then doing it all over again, week after week. Lots of late nights, lots of fun.
Red Cube has already expanded its brand from event production to a music label. The next possible opportunities lie in opening their own venue to create a destination spot within the music community, as well as developing a lifestyle apparel division to foster deeper relationships with attendees through the experiences they offer.
